Firstly congratulations on owning a Three Hogs Workshop Mug!
These mugs are handmade and are a labor of love, So long as you follow the steps below this mug could last you an eternity.

1. Hand washing only, rinse inside with warm soapy water, Avoid soaking of the wood, Dry immediately. NEVER dish wash. NEVER microwave

2. The mugs are suitable for both cold and hot drinks, However going from cold to hot immediately is not recommended. Warm the mug slightly first with a small amount of boiling water, Then pour your hot beverage of choice inside.

3. The mugs are finished with food safe oils.

4. Keep the mug away from direct sunlight for long periods of time. This can make the wood discolour.

5. In the event the metal insert comes loose from the wood, Stop using immediately, You can re-glue the insert using Epoxy Gorilla glue, Or something similar.

6. Your mug will need regular sealing. You can use the wax oil butter I sell or any food safe oil of your choosing.

7. Wood is a living material and therefore sometimes does what it wants. Rarely small cracks can form , this is normal. If a large crack forms please contact me via email
